Описание и обзор Hercules Classic Webcam

Я отложил все дела и решил сделать обзор, у меня в руках веб-камера Геркулес с матрицей 0.3 МП, полное название Hercules Classic Webcam. Камера у меня уже 9 месяцев, хочу поделиться с вами моими впечатлениями. Неплохая камера за свои деньги, конечно есть решения в линейке Hercules получше, но что есть, то есть. Менять пока не планирую, устраивает на 99%. Разрешение отснятого видео 640x480 пикселей, подключается к порту USB 2.0. Смотрите полный видеообзор ниже.

I hope this helps everybody who was as frustrated as I was when I switched to a 64-bit system. The video tutorial is for Windows 7 64-bit, but the drivers should work for all in title, and probably Windows 8 as well. I have not tested all Systems and all EyeToys, so let me know if you run in to any problems.

Driver:

Replace the following in the HCLASSIC.INF file using a text editor:

For Namtai EyeToy use Replace All:

VID_05A9&PID_4519

And:

VID_05A9&PID_451

With:

VID_054C&PID_0155

For Logitech EyeToy Replace All:

VID_05A9&PID_4519

And:

VID_05A9&PID_451

With:

VID_054C&PID_0154

The next two steps are for both Namtai, and Logitech versions.
Replace the second occurrance of :

HKR,%CamSet%, EnableSystem, 1, 5a,6d,FF, 53,9b,9f, 54,ff,ff, 5d,03,ff, 49,01,ff,
48,00,ff

With:

HKR,%CamSet%, EnableSystem, 1, 5a,6d,FF, 53,9b,9f, 54,ff,ff, 5d,03,ff, 49,01,ff,
48,00,ff, 72,ee,ff

Rename your camera by replacing:

USB.DeviceDesc="Hercules Classic Webcam"

With:

USB.DeviceDesc="PS2 EyeToy" (Or any name you would like it to have.)

This driver is identified as being unsigned. If you have trouble installing ask google how. The warning notification that states a possible incompatibilty has not given me any trouble. This driver was designed to be compatible with 64-bit systems and backward-compatible with the ov519 chipset (it was made for the ov530 chipset).
